Gudebrod HT® FLAT METALLIC BRAID is an innovative material specifically developed for the custom rod builder. This ultra low profile braid is a full 1/8” wide x .008 thick (about the same as size B thread).  Using flat braid eliminates the time consuming task of wrapping with a single thread since each wrap with HT Braid is .125" in width, roughly the equivalent of 16 single thread wraps.
It's strong, too!  With a tensile strength of 6.5 lbs, you can use HT Braid to wrap on rod guides or for decorative butt wraps.  It retains its brilliance and is not degraded by finishes, epoxies or color preservers. It consistently maintains its form to provide a high quality, uniform wrap design, saving time while maintaining brilliance.
